Our Gotlands sheep
Gotlands sheeps comes originally from Gotland, hence the name. It is a Swedish native breed sheep, also known as “pälsfår” in Sweden. They have curly, gray, glossy and silky coat. The lambs are born black but turns to shades of gray with time. Adult animals are gray with black legs, even the head is black. Both rams and ewes have no horns. Gotland sheep is unique in one way, the skin is optimal from the point of fur at the same time that the lambs are slaughtered mature.
Gotland sheep are skilled landscape gardeners.
